Join our 3-day Thanksgiving French enrichment camp, where kids celebrate Thanksgiving and fall and learn through fun crafts, songs, games and more with a native speaker!

Winter French Playhouse

Give your child a magical winter experience with our Winter French Playhouse! Designed for children in Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade (ages 4 to 6), this hands-on event immerses kids in French through creative stations like a pretend cafe, sensory activities, science experiments, arts and crafts, and French music. Led by a native French speaker, it’s a fun, relaxed environment where children can explore, create, and learn through play—all while practicing French!

What Your Child Will Experience:

Our Thanksgiving-themed camp offers hands-on activities designed to foster a love for French language and culture. Here’s what we’ll be doing each day:

• French Vocabulary and Conversation: Through stories, songs, and everyday conversations, kids will build confidence in speaking French in a warm, supportive setting.

• Arts & Crafts: Using a Thanksgiving theme, children will create their own art projects while learning related vocabulary and expressions in French.

• Science Experiments: Simple, fun experiments will keep the kids engaged and curious, with instructions and new terms introduced in French.

• Thanksgiving-themed Games and Activities: Campers will enjoy games, scavenger hunts, and movement-based activities—all with a French twist!

• French Snack Time: Kids will have the chance to taste a few French-inspired snacks while learning food-related vocabulary. (Please let us know of any allergies ahead of time.)

• Songs and Dance: Through French music and dance, we’ll introduce traditional children’s songs and movements to make learning French a joyous experience.

At the Winter French Playhouse, your child will enjoy a magical blend of fun, creativity, and natural French language learning in a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Each day features a unique theme to keep their interest at its peek and make every visit special!

Engaging Play Stations: Pretend play in a mini coffee shop, hands-on sensory activities, and exciting science experiments spark imagination and curiosity.
Creative Arts and Crafts: Guided festive crafts give kids the chance to explore their creativity while learning French vocabulary.
French Immersion: Through gentle guidance, games, and music, children naturally absorb the French language while playing and exploring.
Relaxed Atmosphere: With self-paced activities and a small group setting, your child will feel comfortable and free to explore at their own pace.

This unique program fosters independence, creativity, and language skills, all while making new friends and creating holiday memories!

Winter French House: Daily Themes & Stations Overview

Each day at the Winter French House is thoughtfully designed with a unique theme to keep your child engaged and excited:

December 23rd: Christmas Magic
Children will enjoy festive arts and crafts, a cozy pretend hot cocoa play station, sensory snow activities, and a holiday science experiment—all set to classic French Christmas tunes.
December 26th & 27th: Winter Wonderland
These days bring the beauty of winter to life with snowy-themed arts and crafts, a winter café pretend play station, icy sensory bins, and cool science experiments like melting “icebergs.”
December 30th: New Year’s Eve Celebration
Kids will ring in the new year with sparkling crafts, a celebratory party play station, confetti-filled sensory fun, and a bubbly science experiment.

Each day offers a mix of independent play, guided crafts, and fun games in a relaxed French immersion environment.

Snacks will be provided.

What to bring?

You don’t need to bring anything except your little one dressed in comfortable clothes—and ready for some fun! Keep in mind, activities might get a little messy, so clothing that can handle a stain or two is best. We’ll also provide a kid-friendly snack during the session, so no need to pack one. Just bring their excitement and curiosity!

How many children will attend?

Each session will have a minimum of 2 children and a maximum of 6. This allows us to maintain a cozy and calm atmosphere while ensuring every child receives individual attention when needed.

There will only be a very few limited spots, to ensure we can give our full attention and support to the group and to each student during our sessions!
